The first most important thing at any time that you sell your website, you are sharing your website with its potential clients and customers, which means that it is not trying to sell throughout the world, but to a customer who has a need for your product or service. Many people think that the more people who come to your web site, the better.

Actually, this is not true. You must define who your target audience and who will be interested in purchasing products or services from your business. This will have a major impact on the style and look of your website. It is more important than the total number of visitors.

It is very difficult for a new business owner, or the company, which has a constant presence that can not sell the products they want to realize that this is not the volume of visitors, but the quality of visitors. They all think: "I want everyone to come and see my website." Well, not every visitor to your website is your target audience, so you really need to think about how your website will appeal to people who are your target audience.

Who is your target audience?

When someone comes to your website, whether it is through search engines or do you leave your URL as a signature to comment on someone's blog or whatever, you want people who are the target audience immediately know that they are in the right place. So let me give you an example, I do a lot of marketing books, because I have a book. I look at many of the author's website and come to the home page, the URL points to it. I do not know whether this is a non-fiction books or fiction books or the books about it. It is very important, because really, as the author, we want every visitor to buy and read our books, so really, our target audience are those people who like a certain genre of books, or who need the information contained within the non-fiction books that we've written .

We do not want to disappoint people who come through or from your website by major search engines go, "Well wait for others, it is fiction, journalism, what is it?" Do you want people to know immediately. This is fiction or nonfiction? This is what is all about. And if that non-fiction, these are benefits you get from reading this book.

They come to your website to find information that we hope will provide answers to your questions. This is your target audience / market is why the design and layout of your website is important.

In short make sure that all the information you want to provide a potential client is the first thing you see. Do not just put something on your website to fill space and make the content. Ensure that relevant to what people are looking for and helps in solving the problems they have.

Most useless for Welcome

They know that they are welcome. So you have a website. This is the first title to come over they should be something that tells the customer to take action or confirm they are in the right place. They are here because you have a solution to their problem.

This should be contained in the upper half, which means before they were to move down the computer screen to see more information. Most businesses absolutely shoot in the foot with the first-we call it real estate, and as soon as you come to the home page at the top, they put some boring pictures such as factories, so they put on the production of something, or Towering factory building that has no connection with their business, or in the sun.

But people do not come to your web site to look at those pictures. They come to find the information you are hoping that they will, if you are in your target market.
